Terms of use
Effective August 27, 2026
By using Global Transit Stats, you agree to these terms. The public site is operated by SummitFlux LLC and provides informational views and analyses derived from public transit feeds.
What the service provides
Global Transit Stats displays live positions, schedules, feed-health observations, historical summaries, and reports. Measurements cover only the places and periods actually observed. They are independent estimates, not official agency records, safety guidance, operational instructions, or a guarantee that a vehicle will arrive.
Acceptable use
You may browse, link to, quote, and cite public pages for lawful personal, research, journalistic, and advocacy purposes. Do not disrupt the service, evade rate limits or access controls, probe private systems, submit unlawful or abusive material, misrepresent the data as official agency output, or use automated access at a volume that harms availability. Contact us for bulk data, commercial redistribution, or licensed API access.
Intellectual property and source data
Transit agencies and their licensors retain rights in their source feeds and names. SummitFlux LLC retains rights in the site's software, design, branding, original reports, and original analysis. A permitted citation should identify “Global Transit Stats, from public GTFS-Realtime feeds” and link the relevant page. No trademark license is granted.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Public feeds can be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, withdrawn, or changed without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SummitFlux LLC disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SummitFlux LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of or reliance on the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the public service during the twelve months before the claim; for free use, that amount is zero, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to SummitFlux LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact [email protected] and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. Any unresolved dispute must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction over SummitFlux LLC, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes and contact
We may change or discontinue features and may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use after that date indicates acceptance. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
