Global Transit Stats is operated by SummitFlux LLC. You can browse the public dashboard without creating an account. This notice explains the limited information handled when you visit the site or contact us.

Information we handle

The dashboard stores preferences such as favorite cities, the selected basemap, and a short-lived city/configuration cache in your browser. That information stays in your browser and is not an account or tracking profile.

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, organization (if provided), message, and ordinary email-delivery metadata you submit. Web servers also produce short-lived technical logs such as request time, requested path, response status, and network address for security and reliability.

Why we use it

We use contact information to answer your request, discuss reports or services, prevent abuse, and keep necessary business records. Technical logs are used to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information and do not use behavioral advertising or third-party analytics on this site.

Service providers

Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site; Hetzner hosts the application; and Resend processes contact-form email. When the map loads, the selected map provider may receive ordinary request information such as your network address and browser headers. Available providers include CARTO, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, Esri, and agency-hosted map assets. Each provider handles its own requests under its privacy terms.

Retention and security

Browser preferences remain until you clear site data. Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Technical logs are retained for operational and security needs. We use HTTPS, access controls, and least-privilege operational credentials, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can clear locally stored preferences through your browser. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information from a contact request, or object to its use, subject to legal retention requirements. Email [email protected].
